A number of people from all walks of life have been meeting over the past two years to talk about forming a new political party in Belize. This would be a political party that focuses on the corruption within our system, the lack of transparency in our government and the economic and developmental issues that are so important to working people in this country but which tend to be ignored by both of the major political parties.

Areas of concern and in need of improvement include better job wages, accessible health care and education, affordable housing, and support for a progressive tax structure where corporations like BEL, Port of Belize Ltd, National Transport, and BTL pay their fair share to help strengthen economic development for Belize and her citizens.

The hard but ever so satisfying work of building a party in this great nation of ours begins now with your support. Getting this party going will be hard but worthwhile work that will make a positive difference in the lives of each and every Belizean especially those who care enough for Belize to make it the country to be in Central America and the Caribbean.
